The Haywire forms are odd, accidentally created forms of aliens.
Concept and Creation[]
It is currently unknown how the Haywire Forms were created, aside from it being an unintentional side effect of the Omnitrix breaking.
The Haywire forms are a sort of semi-fusion. Rather than normal fusions, which are half of one alien and half of another, Haywire forms take a different aspect. When an alien is Haywired, they are only 9/10 of their original species, and 1/10 of a second, swapping out for their own 1/10 that goes to the alien they are Haywired with. When this happens, the two aliens swap color schemes and power sets. These powers adapt to the physiology of their new bodies, such as Haywire Spidermonkey being able to shoot fire from his tail and Haywire Swampfire shooting webs from his hands.
Due to the physiology of some aliens, certain powers are not swapped between the two. An example of this would be that Haywire Big Chill retains his flight due to having wings and does not have jackhammer arms, while Haywire Armodrillo retains his jackhammer arms but cannot fly as he has no wings.
For the most part, aliens only have their genetics Haywired and not their clothes, although there are some exceptions, such as Haywire Four Arms, Haywire NRG, and Haywire Echo-Echo.
Activation[]
When the Omnitrix broke to cause the Haywire forms, they were automatically activated for every unlocked transformation.
Drawbacks[]
While the Haywire forms create a need to find more creative ways to use an aliens power while paired with a different alien's body, there is a major drawback. There is no way to determine which aliens are Haywired with who aside from trial and error. This can cause trouble in the heat of the fight. Another major drawback is multiple aliens sharing a color scheme, making it difficult to automatically determine which alien a transformation has the powers of, such as when Ben attempted to use the powers of Echo-Echo, Atomix, and Ditto before discovering he was Haywired with Upgrade when Haywire Storm Cell as all had white and green color schemes.

Trivia[]
- The Haywire forms taking 1/10 the DNA of other aliens is reminiscent of Kevin and Aggregor only being able to use 1/10 the power of those they asborb from.
- The following Haywire forms were directly inspired by or taken from the Haywire Toyline:
- AmpFibian-Humungousaur: The toyline originally had AmpFibian-Ultimate Humungousaur, although in Time's End Humungousaur is perpetually Ultimate, so there is essentially no difference. Humungousaur did not have a Haywire.
- Armodrillo-Big Chill: The toyline originally had Armodrillo-Ultimate Big Chill. Big Chill did not have a Haywire.
- Four Arms-Stinkfly: The toyline originally had Four Arms-Stinkfly.
- Spidermonkey-Swampfire: The toyline originally had Ultimate Spidermonkey-Ultimate Swampfire. Spidermonkey did not have a Haywire, but Swampfire was originally haywired with Diamondhead.
- Terraspin-Wildmutt: The toyline originally had Terraspin-Ultimate Wildmutt. Wildmutt was originally Haywired with Goop.
